Privacy Policy
Last updated October 16, 2026
We collect what we need to run your account and nothing more: your name, email, a scrambled version of your password, which stocks you look up, and your subscription status. We never see your card number. We don’t sell your information, we don’t use advertising trackers, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Who we are
This policy explains how Injoyments LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company (“Injoyments”, “we”, “us”), handles personal information when you use injoyments.com. Contact us at admin@injoyments.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name and email address, and your password, which we store only as a one-way bcrypt hash. We can’t read your password.
- Agreement record: the date and version of these policies you agreed to when you signed up.
- Messages: anything you send us by email.
Information created when you use the site
- Usage: which stock tickers you look up or search for, which ratios you view and ask the AI to explain, and when. We use this to apply the free plan’s monthly limits and, looking at everyone’s usage together, to decide which stocks and features to add.
- Subscription: your plan, its status and billing dates, and the customer ID our payment processor assigns you.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, recorded in our server and network security logs.
Payment information
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe on pages Stripe hosts. Your card number and other payment details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers. Stripe shares back only what we need, such as whether a payment succeeded.
Cookies and browser storage
We use one cookie: a secure, HttpOnly sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in for up to 30 days. It can’t be read by scripts on the page, and we store only a hashed copy of it. We also save a few settings in your browser’s local storage, such as whether you’ve seen an intro lesson and your preferred lesson level.
We don’t use advertising cookies, third-party analytics or tracking pixels. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout and billing pages to process payments and prevent fraud.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- To provide the service, including plan limits and Pro features.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To send account emails, such as email verification and billing notices. We don’t send marketing email.
- To answer your questions and support requests.
- To detect abuse, fix problems and keep the service secure.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with service providers that run parts of Injoyments for us, under contracts that limit what they can do with it:
- Amazon Web Services: hosting, database, content delivery, security filtering and sending email, in the United States.
- Stripe: payment processing and subscription billing.
- Google: email you send to admin@injoyments.com is delivered to a Google mailbox.
- OpenAI: writes ratio explanations. We send it the stock ticker and the financial figures being explained, never your name, email or account details.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights, safety or property of Injoyments or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except for records we must keep by law, such as billing and tax records, which we keep for up to seven years. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security. Stripe keeps payment records under its own legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, give you a copy, or delete it. Email admin@injoyments.com from the address on your account, and we’ll respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm it’s really you first. If we decline a request, you can reply to ask us to reconsider.
Depending on where you live, including New Jersey, California and other states with privacy laws, you may have these rights by law. We honor them for everyone. We won’t treat you differently for using them.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) throughout, hash passwords and sign-in tokens, keep the database on a private network, and limit who can access production systems. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we’ll tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.
Children
Injoyments is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll also email you or show a notice on the site before the changes take effect.
